The Begin.. PART 1

Hi guys! Now I want to share the process of making my gardin. Im super excited btw because this is my first time ever making a macrame curtain. let see those pic of my process!

These are tools that I used!

The main things of making macrame that we should have is the rope! I used NIKKI COTTON TWINE as my rope to make macrame curtain. This rope are very cheap and nice to use if we want to save budget coz it is only RM3 compare to other rope exactly we called as "macrame rope". We can see lots people using the real macrame rope in overseas. Then, we need a measurement tape to measure the length of rope that we want to use. I chose wood rod rather than steel because I want to make it look more vintage.

I used to cut every rope for 240 inch long!

Next, I want to make alternating square knot. I need 4 string which is 240 inch each like i said before. I wanna make a loop of square knots. So if you want to make loops, u must make sure your string long.

Then I make half square first to make it look like a net. Repeat this knot till get the length that we want.

This is SQUARE KNOT! as I said before, I want to make a loop of square knot because this knot will make your curtain can easily remove from the dowel rod.

Yeah two loops!
